94XX Pannier Body White metal 00/EM/P4 scale. Probably Will’s. Bought in error, I thought it was Graham Farish die cast but it is a white metal kit. Was fitted to old style Hornby Jinty X04 centre axle drive Chassis but I can’t see why a modern Bachmann 57XX chassis won’t fit. Looks to be a mix of soldered and glued assembly. Needs TLC. smokebox handrail etc
There were over 200 of these modern panniers built post war and up to 1955. Timed at 60 MPH they did everything from Pick up goods and shunting to Express passenger work on the Gloucester Cheltenham line and Banking on the Lickey Incline. Heavy Body so should pull a decent train unlike the super light Bachmann RTR
