Having a wee clear out and came across these two items that I do not need for my layout.
Please note, this is the original Farish Jinty and not the version released recently by Bachmann. However, it is the breathed-on version that Bachmann released i.e. it has the blackened motion, wheels and much improved livery application.
This Graham Farish 3F Jinty 0-6-0 was purchased new by back in 2005 from Cheltenham Model Centre. Since then it has remained in storage in its original box.
This morning I placed a small amount of oil prior to testing on my layout. I am pleased to report that despite being stored for several years the Jinty runs sweetly in both directions on DC.
