Lots 017 to 021 descriptionItem: Graham Farish 624 57ft Main Line Composite GWR 709 brown and cream lined, with box.Condition: I am selling five of these in separate auctions (Lots 017 to 021). All very similar condition, but see photos for specifics per lot. Coach good with slightly rubbed lining/lettering. Roof slightly or locally yellowed. Box slightly worn with some creases.Info from Ramsays: Produced 1979-2000.About the collection and these salesI am selling what was my Dads huge collection of N-gauge locos, rolling stock (coaches, wagons & freight), track, scenery and accessories. It will go in that order (ie locos first) in approx 15 eBay auction lots per week from Oct 2019 to Feb 2020. Lots of goodies in time for Christmas! My Dad collected some of this stuff in the 1960s and 70s, but continued to accrue items until he passed away in Jan 2015. It has had only extremely rare outings in use by him, set up on the dining room table, and his dream of developing a proper fixed layout was never realised. The early stuff will have been bought new, but its possible he picked up some second hand more recently.I have no expertise in these items, but I have tried to test, describe and photograph as fairly and accurately as I can. I could easily miss aspects obvious to a collector (eg, a missing loose/clip-on piece), so please look at all the pics carefully and dont rely on what I spot and describe in the text as a non-specialist. I have where found included info from Ramsays British Model Trains 7th Edn and cited it as such. I have tried running all locos/DMUs and included links to videos so you can judge for yourselves. I have not attempted any repairs or maintenance other than cleaning my test track and running loco wheels on a Marklin/Minitrix copper cleaning brush. All items are sold strictly as is with no returns, though I will of course offer full or partial refunds as appropriate if it turns out I have made significant errors in descriptions. Each auction will start on a Thursday evening at 5 minute intervals and run 10 days to a Sunday evening. There are deliberately no Buy-It-Now prices, so please dont make offers on individual items or enquire about buying larger swathes of the collection. I have sold at least 750 lots over 15 years on eBay and have never stopped an auction early.Multiple items and combined postage discountsBy default I will discount postage for multiple lots won from one weeks set of auctions, so please await an invoice before paying if this applies to you.If you expect to be bidding on items over several weeks and would like me to hold off delivery to minimise total postage: (a) Message me via eBay as soon as you win the first item to ask me to hold off delivery; (b) Pay for the item(s) without delay each week, including the advertised postage; (c) Message me again when you want me to send items won to date. After (c) I will calculate the final discounted postage and either deduct the postage saving on the invoice for any final item(s) won, or issue a rebate via PayPal.
