GMR Models metal brass OO gauge LNER V2 2-6-2No. 3664 in Doncaster GreenThe loco that won thewar some say. No. 3664 was the last version of this model built at Doncasterworks and entered service in March 1942 and spent most of her working life onshed at Dundee Tay Bridge finally withdrawn from service in December 1962.This project is of ametal brass built kit with 5 pole motor. Please have a look at all photos tosee the level of detailing on this project. Runs pretty well at medium and high speeds but the motorneeds quite high voltage to operate hence little control at low speeds. Alsocan hesitate when changing direction a bit especially when cold.
