French Hornby O Gauge M Series Clockwork Loco & TenderThese were made in Paris between 1953 – 63. They are part of the M-series of Hornby O gauge. They are made of tinplate and have standard Hornby automatic couplings so they will couple with standard O gauge rolling stock as well as M series rolling stock . The loco and tender are 27 cm long.The train runs in the forward direction only and it is started/stopped using the lever on the boiler side. It can also be stopped using the Hornby 2- rail stop rail – this has a lever, when raised, catches a lever underneath the loco and brings it to a halt. They are in very good condition with no dents or anything missing. They have a few minor scratches and paint chips. The train winds-up and runs perfectly and the start/stop works also.
