1 x boxed Fleischmann Piccolo “N” gauge BR38 4-6-0 steam locomotive, catalogue number 7161, finished in NS (Netherlands Railways) Black livery. It had recently been fitted with a brand new motor with new traction tyres and had been running very well, but unfortunately during test one of the plastic crankpins sheared and it is now being sold for spares or repair. However, included in the sale is a spare set of used valve gear which includes undamaged crankpins and it could be a relatively easy repair to enable the locomotive to run again (please see photographs).
The locomotive and tender are generally in good condition, although one of the tender steps is slightly damaged. It comes in its original box and insert which are in poor condition, but also included is the undamaged instruction sheet, together with the original, unused decal sheet with alternative running numbers (again refer to the photographs).
The locomotive will safely and securely packaged for posting.
