We always track test locos but will fall back on other testing methods e.g. in a maintenance cradle, to give what assurance we can as to running.This auction is for an essentially excellent 4mm scale OO gauge kit built white metal GWR 9400 Class 0-6-0 Tank Loco ‘9400’. Every aspect of the build of the loco is excellent but both forward steps are missing and the loco is fitted with a modified proprietary chassis. When tested before this sale the loco would not run. The loco appears to be have been well looked after but has been out of use for some time so may just be in need of a service and some running time.
