The 751D ELECTRONIC TURNOUTSWITCH KITS – 10 PACKThisunique space saving circuit is unbeatable for performance and fascia panel design. Read on and seewhy thousands of these are in use all over the planet! This listing is for apackage of 10 kits, my most popular internet item, and it’s only available onEbay and my web site. The 751D listed here is used for two coil switch machines(Atlas, PECO, etc)A simple circuit, the 751D was developed in answer to numerous requests to from modelers whowanted to switch turnout point position with a momentary pulse and also have the ability to enable constant state display of that turnout’s position. The 751D answersthat calling for twin coil (Atlas, PECO, etc) type switch machines. As well, the heavy duty MOSFET transistors incorporated in the design alloweach 751D  the capability to switch multiple turnouts simultaneously making the 751D a “no brainer” choice for crossover switching. Later on, the 751K was developed for use with single coil type turnouts (Kato,Rokuhan). The 751Kis simply a momentary “H bridge” design that once again utilizes heavy duty MOSFETs in its output stage. 751 series switches requireabout 2″ of space behind your panels. Add a bit more for wiring. Everwonder how on earth you can add LEDs to your control panels to indicate whatposition your turnout points are in? It’s pretty much impossible to do withconventional momentary turnout switches unless you add switch actuators attrackside or use latching relays. The 751D was conceived to provide a simplesolution to this problem. Since I came up with this circuit back in the ’90’sI’ve sold thousands of these worldwide. Check out the model railroad forums forfeedback from actual users. These are as popular with expansive club layouts asthey are in home layouts. The photo above will give you an idea of the size ofthis circuit. Easy to mount in fascia or control panels not exceeding 1/8″thick. 751 series switches will mountin panels up to 1/8″ thick These willgive your control panels a finished, professional look all the while eluding totheir functionality. Add LED dwarf signals at trackside, or any size or colorLED indicators to your fascia panels….. OR BOTH if you like. In fact, there isno limit on the quantity of LEDs you’ll be able to add. In fact, you can evenadd external relays to expand the 751D’s functionality. I installed DIY dwarf signalsin my N scale switching yard Thekit consists of one fully assembled 751D that you will use as an assemblyreference sample, and all the printed circuit boards, switches, capacitors, resistors, etc, and cable ties to assemble 9 additional units. You’ll need adecent soldering iron – 25W to 35W with a 1/16″ tip is ideal, 60/40 or63/37  1/32″ diameter rosin core solder, diagonal wire cutters, andabout 2 hours of assembly time (at the outside).Onceinstalled, you will provide the 751D with 12 volts DC  system powerforAtlas coils or 16 volts DC  system power for PECO coils. Yes, you’re likelyusing AC power right now and that’s quite normal, but the 751 series require DCpower.  For best results I’d suggest a supply capable of delivering upwardsof 2 amps and NOT one of those newfangled SMPS types, but rather, a conventionallinear supply built with a real iron and copper transformer (old school). Here’s all the stuff you’llreceive – along with comprehensive instructions – LEDs are not included – see myweb site for those Use yourfavorite search engine and look for my web site online. Use the search term: Ken’sHobby Electronics Page Whenyou find my web site you’ll be able to download the instruction sets for all myproducts including throttles, block detectors, .
