REPLICA DINKY TOYS / HORNBY O Gauge HALL’S DISTEMPER ADVERTISEMENT.
An accurate replic of the classic Dinky Toys Modelled Miniatures / Hornby Series No. 13 accessory set.
As originally manufactured by Meccano Ltd. of Liverpool, circa 1932- 40. From the Hornby Trains 0 gauge range.
These replicas were produced in the 1980’s, they are differentuated from the originals by being solid cast figures, as opposed to the originals which are hollow cast. Accurate printed cardboard plank.
Excellent condition with the exception of some artificial grass on the edge of the bases from having stood on a lay-out. Excellent paint finish that follows the speciffication of the original.
A great alternative to paying 100 – 250 for an original set.
As lifelike figures they can be used with Gauge 1 trains.
Overall condition rating; 9 out of 10. Ready to use & enjoy.
