This option is for us to fit a DCC decoder into your own locomotive which you send to us.
Please note 32.99 is the cost to supply and fit a DCC decoder to a locomotive you send to us. You do not need to use the buy-it-now option, you can simply send us a message to advise us you are sending us a locomotive. We can discuss any options or CV programming you require then we will then invoice you once the work is done.

Remember most 2 car DMU’s will require 2 decoders, so you will need to add two DCC fitting services to your basket.When your locomotive is received we will fully inspect and test it on DC before carefully fitting the right decoder. Then we will test again on DCC before re-packaging and returning the locomotive to you with a full copy of the report.We use the best Gaugemaster DCC decoders.Our price includes the decoder and return postage to you. The only extra thing you will have to pay is the postage to deliver the locomotive to us.Would you like to add a Gaugemaster Ruby PowerPal capacitor as well? We can do that at the same time for an additional 16.95.We can also fit LED headlights to some models of locomotives at the same time. Please note:If your locomotive fails our test procedure on receipt, we can discuss the costs to repair it.If we are unable to fit a DCC decoder in your locomotive due to size or other technical restrictions we will return it to you and refund you the amount paid less our usual delivery charge.Whilst we always endeavor to use Gaugemaster Ruby Decoders, it may be necessary to substitute a compatible product.
