Has the 6000 Gallon Tender
Built to P4/S4 18.83 mm standards and completed December 1998
Has a MAHIMA Motor
Ratio of Gearbox 53:1
The Locomotive is compensated very slightly on the 2 front driving wheels ( crownline didn’t allow enough room for too much compensation)?
The Tender is NOT compensated but as long as your track is relatively flat with no sharp curves it will stay on track.
Has not clocked up that many miles as it was built as a project in P4/S4 modelling. Ran mainly on a test track.
Runs nice and smooth at Top and Lower Speeds
Picks up current on all 6 Driving Wheels
Has been well weathered to depict the end of these wonderful locomotives at the end of their service on British RailwaysSome of them were relegated to freight workings and some even had their nameplates removed.Not really sure how this one ended its service?….so i thought i would give it a good weathering keeping the nameplate on board.
Some Features:
1. Flush Glazing on cab windows
2. Driver and Fireman on Footplate
3. Sprung Buffers on Loco and Tender
4. Real Coal added in Tender
5. Etched Nameplate ‘Nederland Lines’
6. Screw Couplings
The loco and tender are easy to couple together
Locomotive Weighs 350 gms.With Tender a total of 470 gms approximate?
Not sure if this loco can be converted to DCC?
Please don’t ask me any questions about DCC only i will not be able to give any advice (very sorry)
Will arrive in a proper strong cardboard box as shown with lots of packing.
