Coras Iompair Eireann (early CIE – Flying Snail) Tarpaulins to fit . standard (360 x 170mm) N gauge wagons. Each one measures 510mm x 290mm. They are made from specially treated 75gsm paper which gives shape but has realistic creases. They are delivered flat as shown in photographs, and once folded and corner overlaps are secured (small discreet blobs of blu-tak are ideal) then they will stay in place and can then be easily removed without marking the wagon. As photos show, they look very realistic, just like the real thing. Note that the wagons shown are NOT included (nor is the layout!). Ropes can be added before shipment as illustrated, at extra cost of 1 – please advise when the bid has been won.lThe CIE was formed as a private company in 1944 and incorporated the Flying Snail logo which it used until 1964 (the later Broken wheel logo was used from 1964 – see my other auction for this). It was nationalised in 1950.All are differently numbered. Note that other company tarps are being offered on Ebay, or message me with which ones you want.URGENT. I have to go abroad on unexpected business on Sunday 3rd March. Any winning bid will have delivery on Wednesday 13th. Sorry for any inconvenience.
