Walkabout controller with 4 Metre lead designed for use on N scale. It comes with it’s own 4 pin panel mount socket. I use 12 Volts AC for supply, which gives output maximum of 10 Volts DC which gives me quite satisfactory top speed, but more to the point, very good slow speed control. I have used it with an 18 Volt AC supply and of course the speeds all increase but control is still very good. I have not used it with OO scale engines so I can not say if extra heat sinking would be needed to use satisfactorily.
