Lima Class 47 738 “Bristol Barton Hill” Diesel loco in RES livery(split from the 47/67 RES pack)
Excellent condition loco – but modified inside, see below.
Lima pancake motor has been replaced with quieter DC can motor. Great speed control on both DCC and DC with this motor.Two additional pickups fitted provide a total of 8-wheel pickup for reliable running.
Boxed in a fair but sound condition, incorrect Lima class 47 box.
DCC Ready – “ezBoard” fitted – wire low-cost LEDs (no resistors required) to the terminals to add your own lights. With any standard, budget 3 function decoder have directional tail lights on F1 in addition to the usual directional marker/headlights on F0 without any programming. Use a 4-function decoder (the ones with the loose violet wire) and have three sets of directional lighting: Marker lights on F0, Headlights on F1, Taillights on F2 – all without any programming! (or you could have marker+headlight on F0, tail on F1 and cab lights on F2!)Just wire the LEDs to the screw terminals as shown in the wiring diagram. (ezBoard available separately for you other classic non-DCC Lima/Hornby locos.)
This loco does not feature lighting – but the LEDs are available if you want to have a go fitting them yourself – please ask for details.
