Pack of 4 separately numbered and roped British Iron & Steel Corporation (B.I.S.C) Tarpaulins. The photos show tarps made for HORNBY R102, R093 or R220 but they are available to fit any HORNBY wagons, or to fit standard (70mm) Bachmann, AIRFIX, or Mainline standard wagons. Each one measures 97mm x 60mm. With about 70mm of rope at each corner They are made from specially treated 75gsm paper which gives shape but has realistic creases. All are separately numberedThey are delivered flat as shown in photographs (with ropes fitted before shipping) and once folded and corner overlaps are secured the ropes can be permanently tied to buffers or brake gear, or if temporary is required, can be secured under the chassis with a small blob of blu-tak or other such. They will stay in place and can then be easily removed without marking the wagon.As photos show, they look very realistic, just like the real thing. Note that the wagons shown are NOT included (nor is the layout!).Note that other company tarps are being offered on eBay, or message me with which ones you want.The BISC was Nationalised in 1949 and was privatised, being renationalised as BSC in 1967.
