Hi!
You are looking at a Boxed Hornby B.R. Mk.3 Test Coach 10, which is the 1992 edition and in good condition. Its catalogue number is R.426The model is OO Gauge.
Only 3200 of this model were produced, according to Hornby’s collector’s guide website.
As you saw from the listing title I advised you to read the description for this reason:
As you can see in photo 10, the bottom of the coach displays the model number R.439 0020. I have searched this particular model online and it displays a coach that is different from the coach I am selling (R.426). I have thoroughly researched that this item is, in fact, R.426 but I am not sure why the bottom of the coach displays this imprint. But as I say, I have done my research and this coach is definitely R.426
Please visit Hornby’s official guide should you wish for more specific information on this exact product:http://www.hornbyguide.com/item_year_details.asp?itemyearid=4706

Condition:
While the coach comes with its own original box, the box itself is in poor condition with scuffs around the cardboard. Unfortunately, the model number has been ripped off the edge of the box due to the fact that as a child I was keen to rip into the box and play it and naturally, my young mind thought nothing of why I might need it later on in life!
The coupling hooks on either side of the coach show signs of slight rust (see photos 3 & 4). However, the carriage itself is in very good condition, although there is one minor scratch that I have captured in (photo 9).Otherwise, the coach shows barely any signs of usage (photos 1 and 3-6) and still runs smoothly on Hornby tracks.
This is an official Hornby Product (photo 10)
I always list honestly and I feel the starting price reflects the overall condition of both box and model.
Reason for selling:
I am having a clear-out of my possessions and I unearthed a few of my old Hornby collections with their original packaging, some of which I will be listing.
I will be packing bubble wrap inside the box to ensure that no damage comes to the model should you end up winning this listing.
The postage costs reflect the price of a first-class small parcel sent by Royal Mail.
I understand the hesitation in purchasing items from a fairly new user so please feel free to refer to my alternate “family account” to read buyers/sellers feedback:https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/4433janec
Grab yourself a bargain!
