A box full of about 46 trees removed from the 7mm 1/43rd scale narrow gauge layout – they only need a small hole drilling to re-plant them on another layout and create a forest or whatever. Most of them use plastic armatures with foliage glued on. A few use other materials and the big one was built from scratch using flexible wire and is quite impressive (one picture shows it under construction).Another picture shows all of the trees plus a couple of telegraph poles and some part-used packets of ‘flower scatter’ which could be used to add a little colour if required. The remainder of the pictures are of some of the layout before dismantling showing mainly the pine trees. And of course the trees can be added to or adjusted with more foliage material and spray or other glue. I suspect a few bits of foliage may fall off in transit but generally they are pretty sturdy.
The rather boring picture of all the trees shows the varying heights/sizes. As a guide, the big one is about 8 inches tall. Could be used for a different scale but probably best for 1/43rd.
I hope the trees might be of some use to someone wanting a quick fix in the forestry department.
