Sold as seen with no returns is a very nice Humorist Loco by Bassett Lowke.
On test, when power is applied the loco doesn’t move but the motor can be heard running at various speeds on both 2 and 3 rail settings. Could be a simple fix but is sold as a project that requires work by a competent modeller. It is boxed and comes with Instructions and Maintenance Diagrams together with a packet of 4 headlamps. Worth doing at such a low starting price.
Looks the part in LNER green livery. Can’t see any marks although there is some slight waviness to the left hand side of the tender but it’s not obvious and displays well. In fact there is no wear to the current collector and it may have been unused, I don’t know the history of the model and bought it for display some time ago.
I’m modelling BR at the moment so a project too far now for me.
