This is a Bachmann, Thompson B1, renumbered 61135, Black Lined Livery, Late Crest. Shed code plate is Doncaster (36A) . Brake rodding and crew still in the plastic packing. Donor loco 31-703.
This is a nicely detailed model.
She has not been used on a layout as you will be able to see from the wheels. Runs well on test track and will need a little running in as per Bachmann loco instructions. Box has slight scuff marks to corners.
Couplings compatible with Bachmann and Hornby.
The loco is boxed and will be securely packaged and boxed for shipping.
The original loco was built at the North British Locomotive Works in Glasgow and entered service in March 1947. She spent her initial working life allocated to Stratford (30A) and Parkstone Quay (30F). She was reallocated to Doncaster (36A) in October 1959 and was withdrawn from there in September 1963 and later scrapped at Doncaster works.
The livery carried by the model is typical of her later days in service.
