I have two of these locos, bothpart boxed, one running and one not.No 2 is numbered 61033 and namedDibatag and is a non runner.The tender is marked with British Railways logo. Although in goodoverall condition, minor usage and handling marks with couplers and buffers etcin place this is a non runner. Investigation revealed that the motor is jammed,another issue is that there seems to have been a bodge on the left side of thechassis, please see highlighted pics 9 and 10.A fitment for what I will call an idlerarm has been broken but glued together at some time, the small retaining screwis missing too and all seems to have been glued together in its place on thechassis, despite this when disconnected from the motor link wheel on the bodythe wheels do turn freely and would probably operate correctly under power too??Ibuy these engines as non runners and rescue them rather than restore orrefurbish them, simply clean the armatures, wheels and pick ups, checkelectrics and get them running again, replacing parts and oiling if needed todo that, however I have decided to leave this one as it is and sell as spares or repair for the more experienced to repair or otherwise.They are not all perfect but some are in good condition and are priced accordingly.Please study thepictures as their quality form part of the description, if you have any queriesarising from them please contact me.Postage via Hermes, trackedinsured and signed for in UK onlyNB; Feedback .. as a buyer Ileave feedback as soon as I get an item to let the seller know all is good, asa seller I reserve the right to leave feedback until I know the buyer is happy.
