Up for sale is a Bachmann Northern 4-8-4 CB & Q Burlington Locomotive & Tender. Running number 5601. Part of a collection of model train items that I have been listing over the last several weeks. Not really my area but this one is one of those with smoke and working lights (plastic oil tube inside the box). Cosmetically, looks to be in really good overall condition and to me seems very little if at all used. Now I’ve tested the loco and it’s strange to me as it starts off running well, then slows to a stop. Leave it for a few minutes and it does the same again. As I said, it looks little used so perhaps a problem or I’m using the wrong controller (Hornby R965). Comes with box which shows a little wear/tear at the ends. Any questions welcome.
