This G Scale set from Bachmann is probably from the 1980’s. The track looks used, the outer card box is very poor indeed but the locomotive and wagons look new. The outer box is supposed to have a card protecting the window panel below, it looks that this was torn off in the rush to open the box, the present was then set up and run and afterwards as the track is awkward to refit into the base of the box it was stored separately, the train however returned to its box and is very good indeed, looking at the coal in the tender it is dust free, the locomotive protected by two layers of clear plastic. Tested working with sound coming from the tender this beginners set is basically just the rolling stock although the box and track will be sent along with the incline pier set. There is a ‘piece of plastic’ in the box but I don’t know where it comes from, please check the photographs to assess condition.Expensive to post internationally this is for the UK only.
