Bachmann 00 Gauge Class A4 No 60008 ‘Dwight D Eisenhower’ BR Blue. Condition is Used.
The locomotive is number 460 of 500, one of a limited edition run by Bachmann. It comes in a wooden presentation box, with a certificate, brake rod attachments, footplate crew, crew seats, coupling and a whistle. Catalogue number 31-953A-100.
There are also etched nameplates and builders plates for attachment if desired.
This locomotive was purchased brand new, but has never been used. I’ve had it boxed up and stored away, but am now looking to sell my collection.
I have test run the loco, it runs lovely and smoothly in both directions as expected. It will need to be run in properly, the instructions suggest for at least an hour to bed in. The loco will probably benefit from some lubrication too after a long period in storage.
The model looks great and there are no deficiencies or damage.
