Auction is for an AGENORIA models 0-4-0ST kit (AM19/7), one of the two KITSON saddle tank constructed in 1890 for the Cardiff Railway subsequently passing into GWR ownership where they ran as 1338 & 1339., the former being preserved at the GWS Didcot.
All parts are present, as supplied. Additionally Slaters wheels and a Mashima motor and gearbox have been added to the kit.
The kit is fully detailed and is a combination of brass, nickel silver and white metal. The castings are very crisp.
The original kit required motor gears and wheels. These are all included. Paint and solders/glues and numberplates are all that is required.
This kits is an original Pete Stamper design and production, but after taking over the firm Mike Williams converted all the white metal castings into lost wax ones.
