Bachmann 38-314 Inter modal Wagons 2 x 45 Safmarine containers 2 x Inter modal wagons each fitted with 45 Containers Safmarine I bought these wagons from new but have added the additional detailing as – the attachment points for the containers (yellow pins/clips)- the container end door bolts/locks- 2 flat diamond plates to the sides of each container Seethe pictures and judge for yourself concerning the additions, as the wagons and containers remain in excellent condition in good boxes with the internal packing and outer box (holding the two inner boxes) also all intact and complete. One of the 2 boxes was supplied as a flat chassis unit and container separately within the inner packaging and this is how they remain packed. I have fitted the chassis unit with the container attachment points already and spares are also supplied. The wagons are free running and have never been used on a layout simply very occasional display in my glass cabinets. Note The wagons are coupled together with the separate couplings supplied – I have supplied at least 2 although only 1 is needed. They are designed to run as 2 wagons coupled together. NEM couplings are already pre-fitted at each end of the wagons as coupled above as a pair. I am also including a number of spare container attachment pins/clips should any of those already fitted become detached and lost they are very small. I have not used any glue in fitting the containers to the chassis units so they remain interchangeable with other Bachmann container brands which can be obtained as accessory packs or you may have others already. Care is needed when removing the wagons from their box/packing as the containers are easily dislodged from the chassis units which is when sometimes an attachment clip can become lost.
