Hornby OO Gauge R152 BR Blue Class 08 Diesel Shunter D3035
Hornby diesel classic 08 shunter (Model R152) either for parts of restoration.
Does run in both directions moderately well, but sometimes when moving off from stationary the motor sticks and the brush can get very hot, drawing a large current.
Has been modified for DCC with an 8 pin NEM 652 socket, however when the motor sticks the chips don’t like it and tend to die. Would not recommend putting a chip in this, unless you can get the motor to run reliably.
