HAG Swiss Express Re4/4. As you can see from last photo, loco was purchased new as a 2 rail DC model, not a 3 rail AC version, because conversion to digital requires a DC motor. Converting to 3 rail just involves screwing on and connecting a pick up shoe and that has been done. So although modified to digital it is still a new model.
Loco has been modified to full digital with ESU LokPilot 4 decoder and LED lighting. However it has never been used except for initial test run, was a display model. Also fitted with ESU Power backup pack. Will run Marklin Motorola, DCC, and has Railcom Plus.
When headlights are on, has red tail lights, lights change over with direction of travel. Red lights can be switched off using F1 and F2 function buttons, if wished.
Original box in excellent condition.
