HORNBY DUBLO 2226 CITY OFLONDON LOCOMOTIVE & TENDER MANUFACTURED IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD SUPERBBOXED CONDITION. Onoffer is this original Hornby Dublo City of London locomotive and tender for2-rail running finished in lined B.R. maroon livery. The locomotive which is infull working order has had only very light use and is in excellent overall conditionshowing no signs of glossing to the paint work through handling. Thenameplates, lining, smokebox and cab side running numbers are in perfect conditionas are the forward facing B.R. totems to the tender sides which are both brightand crisp. The tender is fitted with the EPC plastic type coupling and shows asmall area of paint loss to one side of the chassis. The original red/whitestripe picture box is also in superb condition with none of the usual tapetears, just some very minor age related wear to the extreme corners which is completewith yellow card insert, two card packing protectors, instructions, guaranteeslip and tube of Meccano oil.
