This is a large vintage good quality battery powered train set with steam loco, coal tender & two coaches. The set is large in scale. The two coaches are similar in size to Lima 0 gauge 4-wheel coaches, for example.
An excellent set in amazing condition. The loco has been tested and runs well.
It comes with its own 0 gauge track which includes two points and a station for added play value (see photos) and, with the addition of batteries (not supplied), the train is ready to run.
It’s also suitable for model railway enthusiasts as the train will also run on Tri-ang Big Big Train track & vintage Hornby tinplate track, so if you already have such a train layout you can run it alongside your other trains. Perhaps could also be used as a Christmas train running round the base of the tree (maybe add a few stickers for the occasion).
