Extremely detailed and engineered N Gauge Double road Engine Shed kit, depicting a generic shed from around the 50’2-60’s. It is manufactured from:
Roof : Acetate – etched to show detail and safety glass
Windows – Clear HIPS for side windows, with a misty weathered finish
Front and rear window – 2mm Acrylic
Drainpipes and guttering – PEG-2 Plastic…white unpainted – the ones in the pictures have been sprayed blue
Walls and roof – 1.3mm multicore board – the side walls are 3.9mm thick – very robust and show the correct depth for the window reveals. The brick print needs to be stuck to the walling surface … pritstick works well for this, or spraymount. The roof trusses in the photos have been sprayed with grey primer – the ones in the kit are finished in a light weathered light blue or grey.
The kit, once assembled, is robust and very detailed – you can see the engineered trusses through the roof and front and rear windows….it looks particularly impressive if you illuminate the interior.
