A Hornby-Dublo A4 “Capercaillie” die cast body shell in LNER Garter Blue numbered 4901 with red name plates. This is a repaint, renumbering and re naming of one of the later BR green versions of the A4 which has been done to a high standard
The finish is pristine, and the numbers are clear and sharp. The name plates are etched brass.
This body fits well on my Hornby Dublo “Golden Fleece” chassis although it has been modified at the rear body mounting, possibly to fit another make of loco chassis (maybe Wrenn). Nevertheless it is a good fit on the Hornby Dublo chassis.
