Here is the opportunity to own fourteen (14) vintage (early) Hornby Dublo / Meccano Ltd curved track sections – thirteen standard curves and one standard curve power feed track.They are basically in good, functional condition, with all fish-plates and centre connectors present, but most of the track sections have traces of green paint on them – mainly on the edges, so have obviously been used on a layout. Some of the centre connectors may have been replaced at some time, especially as one piece of track has a narrow connector at one end and a wide connector at the other.All the other pieces have narrow connectors – there are at least two different styles!Some of the fish-plates are slightly bent.Where visible, the markings include HORNBY-DUBLO and MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD on the outside edge of the curves – unusually the piece with the red cross painted on the underside has MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD followed by HORNBY-DUBLO.It is thought that these items date from the mid 1940’s to the early 1950’s.I have more model railway items to sell, so please take a look at my other items (and subsequent listings).If you have not already done so, be sure to add me to sellers you follow !!!
