A Baseboard that’s light and easy to move !!!
The baseboard shown is only 9KG . and is 8 foot x 4 foot .
These are ideal for baseboards that need to be moved or stored under the bed or on top a unit etc.
Please note when fitting point motors , fit the point motor direct to the plastic of the point, or use a very good “Grab” type glue to mount the point. when soldering wires onto base of track please ensure you remove any foil around the wire to avoid any shorting . as the board is covered in foil both sides please keep that in mind if you have any bare wires .
the thickness of the board is 25mm and the frame is approx. 45mm wide , the foam board is glued all around with wood trim using a very strong solvent free waterproof glue . There are cross battens under the board to make it nice and strong .
These baseboards are great for cutting down into the terrain of your layout and easy to add more on the top , if you need any off cuts for mountains etc please let me know and I will pack them in the delivery for a few pounds extra to help me with the postage .
Theses boards are quite strong but please avoid putting a lot of weight on them when leaning acrost the layout .
