7mm Finescale Ex Highland Railway 48′ Post Office Van in use as a breakdown train tool van. Converted by the LMS and still in use by BR through the 1950s and possibly longer. Well built and weathered from a Lochgorm Models etched brass kit. Fitted with Wayoh bogies, Slaters wheels, sprung buffers & couplings. There is a photograph of the prototype in this condition in ‘Highland Railway Carriages and Wagons by Peter Tatlow.For many years I have charged postage at cost andabsorbed the charges made by eBay and PayPal regarding postage costs. They nowbetween them take a commission of approximately 15% from the price paid forpost and packing in addition to the sales commission taken by eBay based on thesales value of the item and a handling fee when paying through PayPal. I feelthat I have no choice now but to increase my postage cost accordingly. Pleasenote that I shall not be making a profit from these increased costs.
