These nameplates are etched from 12thou high grade stainless steel and all sets are pre cut and finished. So just need attaching to the locomotive. All of these nameplates have been meticulously researched, drawn and then etched in 7mm scale. These are then sprayed in etch primer and then finished in the correct background colour.
Attaching to the locomotive.
This is easily done using a cocktail stick and a smear of varnish. Floor or yacht varnish are good for this as they give good adhesion to the locomotive body side and also a chance for re-positioning (whereas superglue doesn’t allow this). Other options are very thin double sided tapes, these also don’t allow for re-positioning either, but cab be removed carefully.
