VINTAGE 3 1/2″ Gauge L.N.W.R. LOCO & TENDER.
A vintage 3 1/2″ gauge kit in all probability by Carson / Bassett Lowke, circa 1912. Chassis for London & North Western Railway (L.N.W.R.) ‘Experiment’ or 19″ Goods Class locomotives.Specification; steel main frames & footplates, cast brass cylinder & valve chest, turned cast iron wheels on steel axles & sprung buffers. The loco is 26″ long x 6 1/8″ wide.Tender chassis is of riveted construction, 15 3/4″ long x 6 3/8″ wide.
Constructed to a very good standard. Light surface rust but no serious corrosion. Great basis for the construction of an excellent model.Weighs in at 10 Kg. & will be dispatched by 48 hour courier service.
