Offered is a pair of O Gauge Exley Suburbans.
There is some retouching to the paintwork and overpainting to the roofs, plus some wear to the edges, so they are offered as restoration projects and sold on that basis. I was going to paint them in BR carmine but I’ve since changed gauge.
One has an Exley label with a London dealers sticker to the base, the other (which at one time may have had interior lighting) has part of a label.
However they are usable as they are and run well on non-insulated wheels. Aluminium bodies, both are glazed with some internal partitions and seating. They display well, I always thought they resembled vehicles in service.
