This Analogue 00 Gauge Model Railway was made by members of Romford Model Railway Society based in Hornchurch. They have made it, not me.But since I am the only member of the club with an active eBay account, I have volunteered to take on the job of listing this one on their behalf. If you have any questions I can ask them and get back to you. The club meets on a Monday evening if you wish to view before bidding – please let us know you are coming by sending me a message before Monday. It will need to be collected on a club Monday evening too after 6:30pm. The starting bid is very low, no reserve, so as to encourage bidders, and give as many people as possible a chance. Why not bid for it? You may get lucky? From the pictures you will see that this layout features three loops. It will NOT be sold with controllers (it needs three ideally; one for each track but you could run it with one or two to begin with). You need trains and rolling stock (any in the pictures are not included). This layout has been displayed several times at the Romford Club show. It used to be our Thomas the Tank Engine layout, hence the helicopter landing pad area. But it is sold as a regular track too as of course you can decorate it that way, and maybe remove the circular track and add a tunnel if you wish. Manual points. It has no legs, so it needs a table to stand on. Please use the pictures to observe the details. For example many of the houses are cardboard and some are missing small details such as a chimney or section of roof. Other buildings are plastic and just placed in position. This means the final positions of buildings (these supplied or your own) are up to you. It is finished, you can just add to it. This would make a great first layout for someone perhaps, or for someone short of space. It is not based on any particular region or era. Size is 8x 4ft (please make sure it will fit in your car/van). When last used it was all fully functional. It has connections to allow controllers to be fitted, or these can be removed to display bare wires. UK bidders only please. Any questions please ask via eBay.
